Aeration
System -
Diffusing oxygen into your wort is a great way to improve the
health of your ferment. This system uses
the included air-pump to push air through an inline sanitary filter which is
then dispersed into the wort through our two micron stainless steel diffusion
stone. Because the atmosphere is only about 20% oxygen, the diffusion stone must
be left running in the wort for approximately 30-120 minutes (however even 5
minutes of aeration is better than shaking the carboy.) |

In Line Sanitary Air Filter - An inline sanitary filter that filters down to .023
micron with a 99.99% efficiency. Use it anywhere you need to keep something sanitary. Fits both ¼” and 3/8” tubing and drilled stoppers.
Care and Storage - There are two sides to the filter - an "in"
and an "out". The direction you use doesn't matter, however, you want to take note of which way you first push air through it and always keep
it that way. There is an arrow on the edge of the filter housing that we use to keep the air flow going one direction when using it. The filter
should never get wet, so don't try and sanitize it by dunking it in sanitizer. If you want to clean the outside of it, use a contact sanitizing spray.
To store the filter, use a little tinfoil on the "In" of the filter and store in a zip-lock bag. Can last up to 1 year. Discard if there are any
signs of discoloration.
