Whole Hop Essences

We have two varieties of brewing hops that have been extracted from their whole form.  Carbon Dioxide has been used as a solvent to extract all the essence from the hops.  In this form they have virtually no acid loss and they are completely sterile.  Because they are a "whole hop extract" they can be used as you would normal hops.  They can be used for bittering, flavor and aroma additions.  The best thing is that you can use them for dry hopping without fear of contamination.  This essence is packaged in small foil pouches that are equivalent to 2 oz. of whole hops.

To make measuring simple allow essence pack to warm up and dissolve in 2 oz. vodka.  Because each pack is equivalent to 2 oz. of whole hops, usage is easy: 1 oz. vodka = 1 oz. whole hops.
