Description
One of the acids found in wine grapes, although at much lower concetrations than Tartaric Acid. Primary acid found in citrus fruits.
Winemaking – Used to acidify wines. As directed in recipe or to taste. 1 tsp per gallon will increase acidity by .1%. Also can be used to increase the effectiveness of sulfite solutions.
Cheesemaking – Used for making the 30 minute Mozzarella and Ricotta cheeses.
Approximately 6 teaspoons per ounce.
Available in 2 oz, 8 oz, and 1 pound sizes, Packaged in re-sealable zip bags.
