Before fermentation or pressing, grapes must have the stems removed and the fruit broken open or crushed. For smaller batch sizes this can be done by hand but larger volumes call for larger equipment. This is a manual flywheel model with 20” by 30” painted metal hopper and paddle auger to feed grapes into rollers. Long handles make it easy to support.
