Briess CBW® Munich LME is 100% pure Malted Barley Extract. This specialty malt extract is made using a traditional multiple step mashing process to achieve higher levels of fermentability. It is made from 50% Munich Malt and 50% Base Malt to produce a very rich, malty, amber colored extract. Used in the production of styles such as Oktoberfest, Marzen or Bock beers and can be added to any recipe to add rich malty character and reddish hues. 3.3 lb plastic canister.

Tip: Syrup Malt Extract is heavy and tends to sink to the bottom of of your brewpot. To prevent scorching, heat your brewing water up, turn off or remove from the heat, thoroughly stir in the syrup malt extract until dissolved and then continue to bring to a boil.
