Description
Tartaric Acid is the primary acid found in wine grapes. In winemaking it is used to acidify wines. Use as directed in recipe or to taste. Approx 1 tsp per gallon.
Cheesemaking – Used for making Mascarpone, an Italian soft cheese which is made from cream and has a rich velvety texture with a sweet delicate flavor. Mascarpone is used as a cream with fruit and cakes as well as in many dessert recipes.
Approximately 6 teaspoons per ounce.
